what coating thickness gauge can do ,how to measure the car paint thickness and how to identify if the car is repainted

Coating thickness gauge  quickly, with high reliability determine whether the car was subjected to body repair.

The process of using the thickness gauge of the car paintwork is not difficult,

you do not need to be an expert to check the thickness of the car's paint and varnish.

Thickness gauge is an instrument that determines the distance from the sensor to the metal base, i.e. thickness of any non-metallic coating (varnish, rubber, plastic, paint) applied to the metal on the base.

 The spread of LCS thickness values for cars with factory painting is 70-200 microns, if the machine was locally repainted,

the thickness of the paintwork will be higher (perhaps twice).

To determine whether any part of the body was repaired (putty, repainted), compare the thickness of the coating of this part with the thickness of the paint parts with factory painting.

The modern thickness gauge of coatings allows to determine the transitions on the repainted parts.

For this purpose, the measurements are made in continuous mode, the range of the thickness of the paint is specified,

if the value goes beyond the specified corridor, an audible signal is heard.

The most functional models of chip-measuring instruments allow not only to measure the thickness of the paintwork,

but also to analyze the results obtained with a computer (the device can be connected to a computer).

Thickness gauge of car coverings:

easy to operate (no additional skills or knowledge required);

high accuracy of measuring the thickness of paintwork;

single (single) measurements and the possibility of monitoring in a continuous mode;

output information on the LCD display;

connection to the computer;

when measuring, the car paintwork is not damaged.
